Connect your applications.

Start the packaged service

Enable and start the installed systemd service after setup. Package installation does not start it automatically.

sudo systemctl enable --now enginegrids-accelerator
sudo accel

Use the listener endpoint

Point the application’s existing database driver at the Accelerator address and port. Retain the application’s database credentials and configure the intended application-facing TLS connection.

Observe startup

The accel terminal monitor shows cache hits and misses, CDC status and lag, application traffic and cache occupancy. During the configured warm-up interval, requests are forwarded to the database while the cache fills.

Apply later changes

Configuration is loaded at startup. Review and check saved changes, then explicitly restart the instance during your planned maintenance window.
