Administer your accelerator.

Use accel for a live terminal monitor, guided command menus and scriptable administration.

Open the terminal monitor

Run accel on the managed host. F1 opens help, F2 opens the command menu, and F5 refreshes process status. Tab completes commands; Page Up and Page Down scroll output. Small terminals use the command prompt.

Local permissions

The operating system controls access to configuration, logs and lifecycle operations. Packaged setup runs as enginegrids; local service lifecycle commands use root. Keep credentials and TLS keys restricted to the required accounts.

Remote administration

Install enginegrids-accelerator-utils on the management workstation. Use the existing SSH service and a verified server host key. The managed server keeps the authoritative configuration and executes commands.

accel_setup --remote operator@accelerator-host

Saved and running settings

show reads saved SQLite settings; the running daemon uses its startup snapshot. Review, validate and explicitly restart to apply changes. The status command checks process identity; runtime counters show current activity.
